Removal & Installation (Miata)

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Disconnect the Variable Tumble Control System (VTCS) solenoid valve harness connector.
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the VTCS solenoid valve. See Fig 1.
Remove VTCS solenoid valve. See Fig 2.
To install, reverse removal procedure. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
