Removal & Installation (Protege & Protege5)

Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Remove the air hose, throttle body and intake manifold. See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM .
Remove in the order indicated in the illustration. See Fig 1.
To install, reverse removal procedure. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
