Detection Condition

PCM monitors EVAP system leak detection pump load current while EVAP leak monitor is operating. If pump load current is less than specified while PCM obtains reference current value, DTC is set. This is an intermittent monitor. MIL is illuminated if PCM detects malfunction in 2 consecutive drive cycles.
