Detection Condition

PCM monitors Idle Air Control (IAC) valve circuit current while IAC duty is more than 18 percent. DTC is set, if PCM detects IAC valve circuit current is less than 100 mA or more than 4.5 A at 77°F (25°C) for one second. This is a continuous monitor. MIL is illuminated if PCM detects malfunction during first drive cycle.
