Detection Condition

PCM monitors input voltage of fuel gauge sender unit at terminal No. 63. DTC is set, when PCM detects voltage is more than 4.9 volts for 5 seconds. This is a continuous monitor. MIL is illuminated if PCM detects malfunction in 2 consecutive drive cycles.
