Detection Condition

DTC is set, when PCM does not receive input voltage from Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor for 4.2 seconds while Mass Airflow (MAF) is 2.7 gram/sec. or more. This is a continuous monitor. MIL is illuminated if PCM detects malfunction during first drive cycle.
