Detection Condition

PCM monitors Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor input voltage at PCM terminal No. 38. If ECT sensor input voltage is less than .14 volt, DTC is set. This is a continuous monitor. MIL is illuminated if PCM detects malfunction during first drive cycle.
