Detection Condition

PCM monitors input signal of Mass Airflow/Intake Air Temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor at terminal No. 88 when ignition is turned on. If input voltage at PCM terminal No. 88 is more than 4.8 volts, DTC is set. This is a continuous monitor. MIL illuminates if PCM detects malfunction during first drive cycle.
