Trunk Lid Adjustment: Clearance

Measure the gap between the trunk lid and the body panel.
- If not as specified, loosen the trunk lid installation nuts and reposition the trunk lid.
Clearance

a:3.5-6.5 mm {0.14-0.25 in}

b:3.8-6.2 mm {0.15-0.24 in}

Tighten the trunk lid installation nuts.
Tightening torque

7.9-10.7 N.m {80-110 kgf.cm, 69.5-95.4 in.lbf}
Adjust the trunk lid striker after the trunk lid has been aligned.
