No. 4 Excessive Creep

EXCESSIVE CREEP - DESCRIPTION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

4 Excessive creep
DESCRIPTION 
  • Vehicle accelerates in D, 2,1 ranges, and R position without depressing accelerator pedal.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  1. Engine idle speed is high (transmission system is not cause of problem)
  2. Go to No. 8 "NO TCC FUNCTION ".
    NOTE:
    • Before following the troubleshooting steps, make sure that the on-board diagnosis and basic inspection have been conducted.
NOTE:
  • If the malfunction remains, inspect related Service Bulletins and/or On-line Repair Information and perform repair or diagnosis.
    • If vehicle is repaired, troubleshooting completed.
    • If vehicle is not repaired or additional diagnostic information is not available, replace TCM.
