NOISE OCCURS AT IDLE WHEN VEHICLE IS STOPPED IN D RANGE, OR IN R POSITION DESCRIPTION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Noise occurs at idle when vehicle is stopped in D range, or in R position |
| DESCRIPTION |
- Transmission is noisy in driving ranges when vehicle is idling.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Malfunctions unrelated to AT:
- Abnormal noise from differential
- Abnormal noise from propeller shaft
- Vibration caused by unbalanced or uneven tires
NOTE:
- Although the malfunction is basically the same as No.22 "NOISE OCCURS AT IDLE WHEN VEHICLE IS STOPPED IN ALL POSITIONS/RANGES", other causes may be selector lever position disparity or TR switch position disparity.
