DTC 31: Poor Connection At Right Side Air Bag Sensor Connector

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Access right side air bag sensor and inspect sensor connector is securely connected. See SIDE AIR BAG SENSOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If connector is securely connected, go to next step. If connector is not securely connected, properly connect connector and go to step 3.
- Disconnect right side air bag module connector located under right front seat. Disconnect right side air bag sensor connector. Inspect connectors and pins for damage or defect. If connectors and pins are okay, replace right side air bag sensor and go to next step. If connectors and pins are not okay, replace air bag wiring harness and go to next step.
- Reinstall all components and reconnect all connectors. Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
