Resistance Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the fuel pump resister. (See FUEL PUMP RESISTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that the continuity between the fuel pump resister terminal A and B is within the specification.

- If not within the specification, replace the fuel resistor.

1. 0.304-0.336 ohms (20 °C {68 °F})
