Variable Dynamic Effect Intake-Air (VDI) Solenoid Valve Inspection: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the VDI solenoid valve. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Inspect for airflow with the steps in the table below.

- If it is normal, inspect related wiring harnesses.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the VDI solenoid valve. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
