DTC 41 - P Position Switch On/Off Signal

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE - DTC 41

STEP	INSPECTION	INDICATION	ACTION
1	Shift selector level to any position except P position.	on	Go to next step.
1	Shift selector level to any position except P position.	off	Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 3T. Is voltage B+ ? If as specified, replace instrument cluster. If not as specified, inspect following parts. P position switch Wiring harness (IG switch - P position switch-instrument cluster)
2	Shift selector level to P position	on	Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 3T. Is voltage 0 V ? If as specified, inspect following parts. P position switch Wiring harness (IG Switch - P position switch - instrument cluster)
2	Shift selector level to P position	off	Input signal to instrument cluster is okay.
