DTC 07 - Rear Window Defroster Switch On/Off Signal

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE - DTC 07

STEP	INSPECTION	INDICATION	ACTION
1	While display of front climate control unit is indicating OFF, turn rear window defroster switch on.	on	Go to next step.
1		off	Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 2R. Is voltage B+ ? If as specified, replace instrument cluster. If not as specified, inspect following parts. Climate control unit Wiring harness (Instrument cluster- climate control unit)
2	While display of front climate control unit is indicating ON, turn rear window defroster switch on.	off	Input signal to instrument cluster is okay.
2		on	Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 2R. Is voltage 0 V ? If as specified, replace instrument cluster. If not as specified, inspect following parts. Climate control unit Wiring harness (Instrument cluster - climate control unit)
