DTC 01 - Buckle Switch On/Off Signal

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE - DTC 01

STEP INSPECTION INDICATION ACTION
1 Unfasten driver-side seat belt. (Buckle switch on.) on Go to next step
off Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 3P.
Is voltage 0 V  ?
  • If as specified, replace instrument cluster.
  • If not as specified, inspect following parts.
    • Buckle switch
    • Wiring harness (Buckle switch - instrument cluster)
2 Fasten driver-side seat belt. (Buckle switch off.) on Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 3P.
Is voltage B+  ?
  • If as specified, replace instrument cluster.
  • If not as specified, inspect following parts.
    • Buckle switch
    • Wiring harness (Buckle switch - instrument cluster)
off Input signal to instrument cluster is okay.
