Removal (GF4A-EL)

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the resonance chamber, fresh-air duct and air cleaner assembly. See Figure . Disconnect the Transaxle Range (TR) switch harness connector. Remove the shift cable clip and spring pin. See Fig 1 . Remove the shift cable from manual selector lever. Disconnect the shift cable from the shift cable bracket. Remove the manual selector lever shaft nut. Remove the lock-washer and manual selector lever. Remove the TR switch.
