Installation (LA4A-EL)

  1. Shift the transaxle into Neutral position. Install the TR switch on the manual lever shaft. See Figure . Hand tighten the 2 TR switch mounting bolts. Use the Special Service Tool (SST) 49-UN01-086, to align the TR switch on the shaft and case. See Fig 1 .
  2. Tighten the 2 TR switch mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Connect the TR switch harness connector. Install the air cleaner assembly and fresh-air duct. See Figure . Install the battery tray and battery. See Figure . Tighten battery tray bolts and battery hold down to specification. Connect the positive and negative battery cables.
