2/4 Band Servo (La4A-El): Removal

NOTE:
The servo cover is under high spring pressure, Use Special Service Tool (SST) 49-UN01-104 to remove 2/4 band servo cover.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the splash shield. Install a nut with an integral washer onto the forcing bolt of the Special Service Tool (SST), with a permanent thread sealer. This nut and washer will aid in the installation of the cover. Install the SST and compress the servo cover. See Fig 1 .
- Remove the servo cover retaining ring and release the tension on the servo cover component slowly. After releasing all of the tension on the servo cover component, remove the SST. Remove the servo cover, 2/4 servo piston and return spring.
