Excessive Shift Shock During Upshifting Or Downshifting

Possible cause: Shift shock may worsen when fail-safe is operating. Check TP sensor, input/turbine speed sensor, or VSS signal faults. Clutch slipped or burned, line pressure low or high, incorrect TP sensor signal, faulty VSS, faulty input/turbine speed sensor, faulty TFT sensor, faulty shift solenoid "A", "B" or "C", faulty TCC solenoid valve, misadjustment of throttle cable, faulty body ground and sensor ground, faulty control valve body, poor hydraulic operation (malfunction in range change).
