Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

CAUTION:
DO NOT disconnect vehicle battery to clears DTCs. If battery is disconnected for more than 5 minutes, operating information will be erased from Keep-Alive Memory (KAM). Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES

Connect scan tool to DLC. Follow scan tool manufacturer's instructions to clear DTCs.
