Transaxle may be operating in FAIL-SAFE MODE due to: TFT sensor failure, transaxle range switch malfunction, TCC solenoid valve malfunction, O/D OFF switch malfunction, torque converter malfunction, faulty control valve body, open or short in wiring, poor connection at sensors and/or PCM malfunction.
