Hydraulic Pressure Tests: Preparation

Follow stall speed test preparation. See PREPARATION under STALL SPEED TEST. Connect line pressure gauge to line pressure test port. See Figure. Place line pressure gauge where it can be read from driver's seat. Ensure engine idle speed and ignition timing is correct. See appropriate ON-VEHICLE ADJUSTMENTS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
