On Vehicle Testing

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air filter housing. Disconnect transaxle 10-pin harness connector. Note that solenoids ground through transaxle case. Ensure transaxle case is grounded. Measure resistance between specified connector terminals and ground. See Fig 1. If resistance for any solenoid is not within specification, replace faulty solenoid. If resistance is within specification for all solenoids, solenoids are okay.
