DTC P0743: TCC Solenoid Circuit, DTC P1742: TCC Solenoid Failure, DTC P1743: TCC Solenoid Failure Or DTC P1744: TCC System Malfunction: Description

DTC P0743 is set when PCM detects (after 2 drive cycles) an open or short in TCC solenoid circuit. DTCs P1742 and P1743 are set when PCM detects (after 2 drive cycles) no RPM difference between engine speed and input/turbine shaft speed when TCC is commanded off. DTC P1744 is set when PCM detects (after 2 drive cycles) RPM difference between engine speed and input/turbine shaft speed when TCC is commanded on is outside programmed limits.
