Powertrain Control Module: Notes

CAUTION: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, PCM may be damaged.

NOTE: If service of PCM is required, use the following safeguards to avoid damage to components. Leave the PCM in original packaging until ready to install into vehicle. Avoid touching PCM connector terminals. Avoid laying modules on nonconductive surfaces.
