"2", "L" & "P" Position Tests

- Move gearshift lever to "2" position. Accelerate vehicle at half throttle and WOT. Verify 2nd gear is held. Decelerate vehicle and verify engine braking effect is felt. If vehicle is equipped with Traction Control System (TCS), engine braking effect should be felt in 2nd gear.
- Move gearshift lever to "L" position. Accelerate vehicle at half throttle and WOT. Verify 1st gear is held. Decelerate vehicle and verify engine braking effect is felt.
- Shift into "P" position on a gentle slope. Release brake. Ensure vehicle does not roll.
