BRAKELIGHT Switch

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect brakelight switch connector. Using a DVOM, check for continuity between brakelight switch terminals "A" and "B" with brake pedal applied. See Figure. If continuity exists as specified, brakelight switch is okay, If continuity does not exist as specified, replace brakelight switch. Switch terminals "C" and "D" are used for cruise control system.
