Oil Pan Removal/Installation: L3

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the under cover.
- Drain the engine oil. (See ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT .)
- Remove the engine front cover. (See TIMING CHAIN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3] .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Refill the engine oil with the specified type and amount. (See ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT .)
- Start the engine and inspect for oil leakage.
- If the oil leaks, specify the faulty part and repair or replace it.
- Inspect the oil level. (See ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the under cover.
- Remove the oil pan. (See OIL PAN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Start the engine and inspect for oil leakage.
- If the oil leaks, specified the faulty part and repair or replace it.
- Inspect the oil level. (See ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT .)
- Inspect the oil pressure. (See OIL PRESSURE INSPECTION .)
