| No | Record FREEZE FRAME DATA on repair order, then go to the next step. | ||
| 2 | VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION AVAILABILITY

Yes | Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available repair information.

| 3 | VERIFY CURRENT INPUT SIGNAL STATUS-IS CONCERN INTERMITTENT OR CONSTANT
|
Yes | Make sure that TP1 PID changes smoothly when gradually opening throttle valve.

| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 4 | VERIFY CURRENT INPUT SIGNAL STATUS - IS CONCERN INTERMITTENT OR CONSTANT

Yes | Go to Step 6. |
| No | Intermittent concern exists. Go to "INTERMITTENT CONCERNS TROUBLESHOOTING". (See INTERMITTENT CONCERN TROUBLESHOOTING .) |

Yes | Replace PCM, then go to Step 9. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) |

| 6 | INSPECT MAF/IAT SENSOR CONNECTOR FOR POOR CONNECTION

Yes | Repair or replace the terminal, then go to Step 8. |

| 7 | INSPECT PCM CONNECTOR FOR POOR CONNECTION

Yes | Repair or replace the terminal, then go to the next step. |
