Disassembly & Reassembly

- Disassemble in the order indicated in the illustration. See Fig 1
.NOTE: When disassembling the piston, turn the adjustment gear clockwise with an Allen wrench to remove the piston from the adjustment gear. Turn the adjustment gear until it becomes easy to turn. See Figure .NOTE: When reassembling replace seals, O-ring, snap ring, and boots with new undamaged parts. Use break fluid to lubricate piston. Grease dust seal, operating lever under sleeve, adjusting bolt, O-ring, and piston seal.
- Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
. Bleed air from system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM
.NOTE: When assembling the piston, insert the piston into the caliper and turn the adjustment gear counterclockwise with an Allen wrench to pull the piston inward. Turn until it stops.
