Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the driver-side B-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to B-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
  2. Remove the fuel filler door latch. For additional information refer to DOOR LATCH - FUEL FILLER  .

  3. Remove the fuel filler door release handle bolts.

  4. Disconnect the fuel filler door release handle cable.
    1. Release the cable conduit.
    2. Disconnect the cable.
  5. Remove the fuel filler door release handle and cable.
    1. Disengage the cable locators.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
