Removal (B2300, B2500, B3000 & B4000)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Remove fuel tank. Turn lock ring counterclockwise. Remove lock ring. Remove fuel pump and sending unit assembly. Remove fuel pump from assembly.

NOTE: Vehicles use a ribbed lock ring to secure fuel gauge/pump assembly. To remove, turn ribbed lock ring counterclockwise by hand. Do not use a wrench.
