Crankshaft Position Sensor: Installation

Install Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor, but do not tighten mounting bolts. Adjust CKP sensor with Crankshaft Position Sensor Alignment Jig and tighten bolts to specification. See Fig 1. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect CKP sensor harness connector. Remove Timing Pin. Remove Crankshaft Timing Peg and reinstall plug (bolt).
