By-Pass Air Solenoid Valve (Millenia 2.3L)

  1. Solenoid valve is located in right rear of engine compartment. See Fig 1 . Disconnect vacuum hoses and connector from solenoid valve.
  2. Apply light air pressure to a solenoid valve port. Air should not flow through valve. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage to solenoid valve terminals. Air should flow through valve. Replace solenoid valve as necessary.
