Purge Solenoid Valve - Airflow Inspection

Disconnect purge solenoid valve connector. See PURGE SOLENOID VALVE LOCATIONS table. Ensure air does not flow through purge solenoid valve vacuum ports. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage to solenoid valve terminals. Apply air pressure to a solenoid valve port. Air should flow from other port. If solenoid valve does not operate as specified, replace purge control solenoid valve.
