Fuel Shut-Off Valve (626)

Fuel shut-off valve is an integral part of fuel tank. If fuel shut-off valve malfunctions, replace fuel tank.
- Remove fuel tank. Connect SST 49-U014-001 to an air compressor and fuel tank port "A". Plug fuel pump ports and port "B" on fuel tank. See Fig 1 .
- Ensure there is airflow from shut-off valve port "C" when 0.99 kPa pressure is applied. If airflow is not detected, replace fuel tank.
- Remove plug from fuel shut-off valve port "B" and install on port "C". Ensure there is airflow from port "B" when 0.99 kPa pressure is applied. If airflow is not detected, replace fuel tank.
- Turn fuel tank upside down. Ensure there is no airflow from fuel shut-off valve port "B" when 0.99 kPa pressure is applied. If airflow is present, replace fuel tank.
- Remove plug from shut-off valve port "C" and install on port "B". Ensure there is no airflow from fuel shut-off valve port "C" when 0.99 kPa pressure is applied. If airflow is present, replace fuel tank.
