Charge Air Cooler By-Pass (CACBYP) Solenoid Valve

Remove CACBYP solenoid valve. See Figure . Apply air pressure to each port of CACBYP solenoid valve. See Fig 1 . Air should flow through ports "B" and "C" only. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage to CACBYP solenoid valve terminals. Apply air pressure to each port of CACBYP solenoid valve. Air should flow through ports "A" and "B" only. If CACBYP solenoid valve operation is not as specified, replace CACBYP solenoid valve.
