DTC P1116: ECT Sensor Out Of Self-Test Range: Condition

DTC is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects input voltage from Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is less than .3 volt or more than 3.7 volts while performing KOEO or KOER self-test. Possible causes are:
- ECT sensor malfunction.
- PCM malfunction.
