DTC P1101: MAF Sensor Out Of Self-Test Range: Condition

DTC is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects input voltage from Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor is more than .27 volt when performing a KOEO self-test. DTC is also set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects input voltage from MAF sensor is less than .46 volt or more than 2.44 volts when performing a KOER self-test. Possible causes are:
- MAF sensor malfunction.
- Plugged MAF sensor screen.
- Intake air leak near MAF sensor.
- PCM malfunction.
