DTC P0500: VSS Circuit Malfunction & DTC P1501: VSS Signal Out Of Self-Test Range: Condition

DTC P0500 is set when Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) circuit malfunctions. DTC is set when vehicle speed exceeds 5 MPH. Possible causes are:
- VSS malfunction.
- Signal interference from ignition system.
- Short or open circuit between VSS and PCM.
