Piston Clearance Inspection/Repair

- Calculate the piston-to-cylinder clearance.
Replace the piston or rebore the cylinders to fit oversize piston as necessary.
Standard Clearance
- 0.025-0.066 mm {0.0010-0.0025 in}
Maximum Clearance
- 0.15 mm {0.006 in}
- If the piston is replaced, the piston rings must also be replaced.
