Crankshaft Inspection: Notes

Measure the crankshaft runout. Replace the crankshaft as necessary.
Runout
1. 0.04 mm {0.0016 in} max.

Measure the journal diameter in X and Y direction at the two points (A and B) as shown. Replace the crankshaft or grind the journal and install the undersize bearing as necessary.
