DTC P0300: Misfire Detection Monitor (Random), P0301: Cylinder No. 1 Misfire Detected, P0302: Cylinder No. 2 Misfire Detected, P0303: Cylinder No. 3 Misfire Detected, P0304: Cylinder No. 4 Misfire Detected Or P0316: Misfire During First 1000 Revs After Start-Up: Condition

DTC is set when a multiple cylinder misfiring or Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor failure is present. Misfire monitor detect any condition which can damage catalytic converter and affect emission performance. Possible causes are:
- Ignition system malfunction.
- Fuel injectors malfunction.
- Fuel pressure malfunction.
- Evaporative emission system malfunction.
- Purge solenoid valve malfunction.
- Engine mechanical malfunction.
- Running out of fuel.
- Internal engine wear.
