DTC P0230: Fuel Pump Primary Circuit Malfunction: Condition

DTC is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects excessive current draw on fuel pump circuit when fuel pump control circuit is on, or fuel pump control terminal does not receive voltage from main relay when fuel pump control circuit is off. Possible causes are:
- Fuel pump relay malfunction.
- Open circuit between main relay and fuel pump relay.
- Short or open circuit between fuel pump relay and PCM.
- PCM malfunction.
