Variable Valve Timing Actuator Assembly Note

  1. Install the variable valve timing actuator using a new tightening bolt.
  2. Secure the camshaft sprocket in a vise using the SST  .

  3. Tighten the variable valve timing actuator tightening bolt in two steps.
    1. Tighten to 40 N.m {4.1 kgf.m, 29.5 ft.lbf}  .
    2. Tighten 90°  .
