Inspection Of Continuity

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
  3. Inspect continuity between terminal 3C and powertrain control module terminal 79.
    • If not as specified, inspect the wiring harness (instrument cluster-powertrain control module).
    • If it is as specified, go to the next step.

  4. Inspect continuity between terminals 3N and 3C.
    • If not as specified, replace the instrument cluster or bulb.

  5. Install the instrument cluster.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
