Inspection Of Continuity

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
Inspect continuity between terminal 3C and powertrain control module terminal 79.
- If not as specified, inspect the wiring harness (instrument cluster-powertrain control module).
- If it is as specified, go to the next step.

Inspect continuity between terminals 3N and 3C.
- If not as specified, replace the instrument cluster or bulb.

Install the instrument cluster.
Connect the negative battery cable.
