Oil Cooler Removal/Installation: Notes

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the ATF. See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) REPLACEMENT .
  3. Remove the front bumper.
  4. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  6. Add ATF to the specified level. See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) REPLACEMENT .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8. Inspect for oil leakage from the oil pipes and oil hoses.
  9. Inspect the ATF level and condition. See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) INSPECTION .
  10. Carry out the line pressure test. See LINE PRESSURE TEST .
  11. Carry out the road test. See ROAD TEST .
