Transaxle Fluid Temperature (TFT) Sensor Description: Function

The PCM uses this signal to determine shift scheduling and control pressure for cold temperatures operation. The PCM also inhibits torque converter clutch operation at low transaxle temperatures and adjusts EPC pressures for temperature.
